State of Wisconsin vs. J.R.

Attorney Corey Chirafisi defended J.R. in a case accusing J.R. of felony battery. J.R. (Defendant) was acquitted (found not guilty) of felony battery charges.

State of Wisconsin vs. J.B.

J.B. was accused of stalking. Attorney Corey Chirafisi defended him against those stalking charges. J.B. Was acquitted (found not guilty).

State of Wisconsin vs. C.F.

The State of Wisconsin through the district attorney's office charged C.F. with second degree sexual assault. Attorney Corey Chirafisi represented C.F. at the preliminary hearing. The court declined to find probable cause to bind the case over for trial on charges of 2nd degree sexual assault. The case was dismissed and all charges were dropped.

State of Wisconsin vs. P.R. and R.S.

Chicago, Illinois residents and police officers were criminally charged in the state of Wisconsin. Attorney Corey Chirafisi represented them. All charges were dismissed prior to trial.

United States versus Defendant (Federal Cases)

United States vs. T.W.

In the largest federal criminal conspiracy case in the history of the U.S. Eastern District of Wisconsin (eastern Federal court), the Federal court suppressed a photo array of the defendant as unduly suggestive. Attorney Corey Chirafisi defended T.W.

United States vs. J.R.

In an 8-count Federal indictment, Attorney Corey Chirafisi obtained a dismissal of the case two weeks prior to trial.

United States vs. G.H.

Attorney Corey Chirafisi defended a client, G.H., who was federally indicted on criminal charges. However, the Federal court dismissed the charges after Attorney Chirafisi was able to prove that the gun used as evidence in the case was obtained as a result of an illegal search. Without that evidence, the federal prosecutor was not able to proceed with the prosecution.

Marathon County versus Defendant (County Case)

Marathon County vs. Defendant

Attorney Corey Chirafisi represented a client who was charged by the Marathon County District Attorney with a drug crime involving the possession of 123 grams of cocaine. Attorney Chirafisi proved to the court that the evidence in the case was obtained during an illegal search. The court suppressed the 123 grams of cocaine obtained during the illegal search.
